I was this evening contacted by the relative of someone who is buried in one of the cemeteries we have recorded.

The information we had posted appeared to include information which may have come from a death certificate, and while I will not go into specifics of that information, it was quite upsetting for the family to have to read it here.

They requested that the information be removed from our site. I was happy to comply and the post in question has been edited to remove the offending information.

Can I ask that everyone please be mindful of any information you may post, particularly where that information may not be available publicly. We may feel that posting as much information as possible is useful, but we should perhaps remain sensitive to the feelings of any potential family members who may find that information and read it here.
