Could someone please tell me what the following abbreviations are likely to be?

(Surgeon General George Bidie, Madras Army, died 1913 age 82) C.I.E. K.H.S.

and

(Commander Alastair George Murison Small, Royal Navy, died 1969 age 72) F.I.H.V.E.

I'll edit the posts for these two now which incidentally are on the same gravestone.

Here was me thinking that F.I.H.V.E. was some 'High Heid Yin' military type term and it turns oot he's a plumber!! Laughing
