OS Map Ref: NX 975 751
The burial ground adjoins Troqueer Churchyard which is listed separately. A great view of the burial ground is obtained from Dock Park in Dumfries and it is a short walk across the new pedestrian bridge, a far prettier route than driving round.
Number of CWGC burials 42
From CWGC - There are 8 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war here. There are 34 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here, including 1 unidentified airman of the R.A.F., (buried in the Service Plot, grave 115). Most burials are in a Service Plot but there are a few in other parts of the cemetery. There are also 17 Foreign National burials and 1 Non World War burial here.

Unknown airman. I thought that I would put this one up first. Seems unusual to find an unknowm airman from WW2 in UK. Nothing on the stone to show a date of death or burial and I don't know any way to get that info from CWGC.
