Hi
I was born in Yorkshire in 1946, lived in Lancashire for 16 years. 2nd Battalion Scots Guards 1966-1973, moved to South Africa in 1979, currenty photographing War Graves as a one-man operation for posterity and personal satisfaction and have been for 10 years plus.

Thanks for the greetings.
Anne, I come across a lot of Scots on my travels. As you may know the highlanders were very involved in the Magersfonteiun disaster. I was there in December. I stood on the hill next to the Highlander Memorial, even for an Englishman it was awe inspiring. To look over the trenches that the Boers used to ambush the 'men in skirts' and to look over the ground that the Scots had to cover in terrible weather conditions and inhospitable terrain was amazing. I will be back there is September.
Dave, the project is going great. I lost around 2,000 pics in Dec/Jan when the laptop crashed, hence the return in September. But otherwise, great.
