The following photographs and information were very kindly sent to me by Forum Member 'wallacewb'.
(Pte. James [Jimmy] Graham was his step father's Uncle.)

James had served earlier in the war in the A.S.C., had been slightly wounded and then released from service. He was then employed in some form of ammunitions work.
Following the German offensive in early 1918, he was recalled to the HLI.

Although James was a Private in the H.L.I., he did achieve the rank of Lance Corporal in his original R.A.S.C. role. Unfortunately, his service records does not appear to have survived.

He married Isabell MacFarlane from Inverkip in February 1918, seven months before his death.
