The wander lust was upon me today and I decided to have a scout round Sighthill Cemetery (Springburn'ish area) in Glasgow.
I had had a look on the CWGC Cemetery Search before I went and couldn't find an entry for Sighthill
Anyway, off I went and after driving round and round for about half an hour then spending the next couple of hours walking around, I couldn't find any 'standard' CWGC stones at all. I found umpteen family stones mentioning men killed (mostly in France) but none for anyone actually buried there. Sighthill is pretty big but because of the lay-out, it's quite easy to 'scan' big areas and usually the CWGC stones are reasonably easy to spot - not on this occasion!!
There has been a thread started (by Adam) stating that Sighthill has over 90 CWGC Burials, so surely they're not all family stones?
Am I missing something . . . . . . . ?
