I would very much appreciate seeing a photo of my Uncle's final resting place. He is apparently in Grave A.47 in Cathcart Cemetery. He was Lt. Graham Nelson, Cameronians -Scottish Rifles and later with Royal Flying Corps. Killed on Aug. 30, 1917.
It is quite possible that this is a family plot.
Thanks,
Roy Kenneth Nelson

Hello Roy,
Welcome to the War Graves Project!
Your uncle is indeed buried in Cathcart Cemetery. Jim McGinlay is in the process of photographing Cathcart Cemetery but either he hasn't found the stone or hasn't got round to posting the photo yet.
Cathcart Cemetery can be found here: http://scottishwargraves.phpbbweb.com/viewtopic.php?t=263&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
The CWGC info is listed on page 2 on the thread (please allow time for all the photos & info to load).

Hello Roy,
I have the photographs and will email them to you. Sorry my posts for Cathcart Cemetery are in a mess and I am planning to sort them out over the winter.
All the best.

I only found this today as I was wandering through the site.
I am intending to go over to Holland/Germany next year to the Reichswald Forest to get pictures of my Airborne chaps,. some RAAF for a chap in Australia and Irish Guards for a lady in Ireland! so the fact that the last name showed AAC was of interest
To see the actual grave location on a family plot is something I have not seen beofre, but having checked the CWGC he is actually in Plot 41 not 21, but I will now have to check both!
Regards to all
