Hi everyone,

I have just completed sorting the remainder of headstone photo's that I still have outstanding for my project.

If you can assist with any of these (76) photo's, I would be most appreciative.

Cheers

Douglas Bank, Dunfermline posted. Grateful if you could give more information on the 3 individuals with same date of death. I was discussing it down at the pub and we are intrigued as 99% of war graves are naval related.
Cheers.

If you are looking at 31st March 1943, there were no bomber command crashes with those names, nor bomber command operational training units so it would be either a transport aircraft or coastal command, neither of which have crash histories yet released in book form.

In a recent contact with "spidge" it seems that the only outstanding gravestone in Scotland is in Rutherglen Cemetery for:

Name: THOMSON, CRAIG SLOAN
Initials: C S
Nationality: Australian
Rank: Sergeant
Regiment/Service: Royal Australian Air Force
Age: 20
Date of Death: 04/11/1942
Service No: 411408
Additional information: Son of Robert and Mary Thomson, of Granville, New South Wales, Australia.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Div. E. Grave 745.
Cemetery: RUTHERGLEN CEMETERY

His death was registered in Newmarket, Suffolk - so presumably there was a Scottish connection?
