In memoriam. Duncan Shaw, Writer to the Signet born at Sponish, Lochmaddy 7th Oct 1850 died at St Aubyns, Inverness 11th Aug 1923. Also his only son Charles Alastair Gordon died 22nd Jan 1908 aged 8 years and his wife Elizabeth Gordon died at St Aubyns, Inverness 6th Dec 1946. Katherine Douglas Gordon Chalmer daughter of Duncan Shaw WS aged 88 years died 6th Oct 1978. Henry Fyshe Palmer Hornsby, Major 3rd Cavalry, Indian Army died 21st Sep 1925 aged 41 years.

In memory of Roderick Hugonin, late 38th Reg second son of the late Lt. Col J Hugonin 4th Light Dragoons of Nursted House, Hampshire who died at Alton House, Inverness on the 6th of Jan 1898 in the 72nd year of his age. Also of Harriette his wife, daughter of The Hon James MacNab, Halifax, Nova Scotia who also died at Alton House, Inverness on the 20th March 1911 in the 83rd year of her age. Noel Richard David Hugonin born 20th Dec 1905 died 12th March 1911. Leonard Hugonin born 3rd March died 2nd April 1904.

With treasured memoried of my dearly loved husband Pipe Major James Johnson, DCM, MM who died 17th May 1948. Without farewell he fell asleep, with only memories for me to keep. Also his beloved wife Catherine Barron who died 29th Oct 1990.

In loving memory of William Horsburgh Lane Lieut. Col retired, Indian Army died 10th Sep 1946 beloved husband of Agnes MacDonald died 24th Aug 1967.

Sacred to the memory of John Clark Lawson, late Sergt of Cameron Hrs. died 19th Jan 1926 aged 53 years. And his wife Ellen M Theobald died 15th Jan 1964 aged 84 years. Also their son John Stephen died 18th Dec 1970 aged 66 years.

In memory of my dear husband Donald MacDonald, Quarter Master Sergeant, The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders died at The Cameron Barracks, Inverness died 5th June 1896 aged 51 after 28 years service. Also Donald and Malcolm children of Sergeant MacDonald who both died in infancy. Also of Margaret Gillespie wife of Donald MacDonald died 1915 aged 79 years.

Old Contemptibles Assn. Aug 5th to Nov 22nd 1914, J MacIntyre, Cameron Highlanders, Inverness Branch. In loving memory of Eneas Martin MacIntyre, late Cameron Highlanders and ex Sergt. Gordon Highlanders died 16th Nov 1944 aged 60 years. And of his wife Alice May Rennie died 2nd Jan 1951 aged 68 years. Worthy of remembrance.

Sacred to the greatly beloved and revered memory of Harry Maxwell MacKenzie, Lt Col Bengal Royal Artillery died 12th July 1891 aged 51. Also of Georgina Caroline his wife daughter of Captain Charles Ponsonby, Indian Staff Corps died at Ranikhet, India 30th Aug 1911.

In loving memory of Cr. Sergt. John MacKenzie, Inverness died 10th July 1900 aged 67 years, and of his sons David Myles died 11th Jan 1901 aged 19 years. Also of his daughter Sarah May who died in infancy. Joseph Andrew died 9th Oct 1905 aged 27 years. And his wife Jane Henderson died 13th Jan 1915 aged 72 years. Roderick John died 20th Nov 1919 aged 47 years. Jessie Marion died 10th April 1928 aged 55 years.

Colonel George MacKintosh CB, CBE The Seaforth Highlanders son of Eneas MacKintosh of Balnespick died 10th Feb 1954 aged 93 years and of Mary his wife died 13th Jan 1959 aged 77 years.
