Erected by Alexander Johnstone, Farmer, Dalcrombie, Torness in affectionate remembrance of his beloved wife Christina Nairne who died 24th March 1933 aged 70 years. Also their sons John who died in infancy. Donald 7th Batt Cameron Highlanders reported missing in France 28th March 1918 aged 22 years. Their daughter Christina who died 9th Dec 1921 aged 17 years. Janet Mary (Netta) who died 5th June 1943 aged 42 years. Also the said Alexander Johnstone who died 11th July 1952 aged 84 years. And their son David Nairne who died 5th April 1979 aged 79 years.
