Does anyone know if any of the Scots killed in the Spanish Civil War are commemorated on any gravestones? |

I know of at least one ........
Sandymount Cemetery, Shettleston, Glasgow.
William J. N. Donaldson, son of Hugh Donaldson died 22.01.1938.
The actual wording from the MI reads:
"In loving memory of my dear brother WILLIAM J. DONALDSON who died of wounds in Spain 22nd January 1938 aged 27 years
My sister MARY died 10th July 1937 aged 30 years
Our dear daughter JESSIE died 9th March 1945 aged 4 years
Also my dear father HUGH DONALDSON died 14th May 1949 ……. (Remainder buried)"
Not a gravestone - but a memorial, see: http://warmemscot.s4.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=3567&mforum=warmemscot
