Adam kindly posted copies of the Imperial War Graves Commission Registers for WW1 graves in Sighthill Cemetery and the Southern Necropolis, from which all the CWGC stones were removed to Eastwood Cemetery.
On checking the CWGC entries for each, it appears to be the case that only the WW1 casualties are listed with an alternative commemoration in their appropriate cemetery (i.e. the cemetery they're actually buried in), but not the WW2 burials.
Lora McGinlay very kindy sent me photographs of all these 'Special Memorials' but when it comes to the WW2 burials, I don't know where the men are actually buried. (There are 20 stones in total.) I've already posted all the photos of Sighthill on a Sighthill Thread (stating that although the men are buried there, their stones are located in Eastwood and I would like to post the South Nec ones on a South Nec Thread).
Apart from contacting CWGC, does anyone know how I'd be able to separate them? (Which WW2 stones came from which cemetery)
I should say at this point, Iain Anderson, the CWGC Inspector for Scotland, wasn't aware of the origins of these stones until I told him.

Just bumping this message back up to see if anyone can come up with a brainwave.
I have all the family stones I found still to post but I don't want to add them till the WW2's are sorted out.
