I've come across quite a few 'discrepancies' between information listed on CWGC and on family gravestones, i.e. different dates of death, ages and different ranks.
Should I post the details given on CWGC but also list any discrpancies?

Post the CWGC information.
The information on the stone is there for all to see in the picture. You can point it out, but I wouldn't go "correcting" the CWGC information.
I've known gravestones to be wrong many times. |
