Loth Old Churchyard, Kilmote
Location: Off A9. 100 metres behind disused church, beside Kilmote farm
OS Ref: NC 972 112

CWGC

Pte. D. Campbell, 3rd Camerons 11.11.1918 (“Peace after Strife”)

Note 1. Pte Donald Campbell is commemorated on a family headstone along with his brother and sister and is also buried in a War Grave in this cemetery.

Note 2. Loth New Churchyard just up the hill beside the now disused church does not contain any CWGC headstones or headstones with military inscriptions but it does contain the Parish of Loth War Memorial

In memory of Lizzie Campbell who died 24th Jan 1913 aged 22 years. And her brothers George, killed in action in France 11th Sep 1916 aged 23 years. Donald died in Hospital in Ireland 10th Nov 1918 aged 22 years.

Cemetery: TYNE COT CEMETERY

In loving memory of James Davidson, Portgower who died 5th March 1904 aged 49 years. Also Elsie their daughter who died 8th Dec 1903 aged 19 years. And James their son who died 9th Dec 1902 aged 11 years. Also Nellie their daughter who died 7th Nov 1911 aged 23 years. Their son Sgt. A Davidson, MM, killed in action 30th Oct 1917 aged 31 years. Also Jessie Davidson who died 15th April 1937 aged 35 years and her mother Catherine MacKay, wife of above James Davidson who died 1939 aged 54 years.
