Erected by David Ross in memory of his relations, George Ross, Linside his father who died 15th Aug 1840 aged 52. Donald his brother of the 78th Highlanders who died in India in 1844 and interred there aged 23. Also of Christie his sister who died 4th Jan 1858 aged 29. 1870.
