Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: III. M. 14.
Cemetery: WHITE HOUSE CEMETERY, ST. JEAN-LES-YPRES


Erected by Alexander MacLennan, Manager, Farr in loving memory of his daughter Mary Ann born 31st Jan 1894 died 3rd Sep 1900. Also his sons Donald who died in infancy. Pte. William MacLennan, 72nd Seaforth of Canada killed in action in France 31st Oct 1917 aged 27 years. The above Alexander MacLennan died 25th Feb 1926 aged 70 years and Catherine Ross his wife died 15th Sep 1940. And their daughter Harrie who died on 10th June 1994 in her 92nd year.

Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 25 to 27.
Memorial: LOOS MEMORIAL


To the beloved memory of Roderick Munro (Audit Accountant, Highland Railway) Drakies Cottage, Inverness died 17th July 1898 aged 48. And of his wife Elizabeth Boyd died 6th Nov 1926 aged 70. Also their family Ann Rebecca died 29th Jan 1897 aged 18. Alexander killed in action in France 2nd March 1916 aged 30. Roderick died 8th Jan 1981 aged 99. Elizabeth died 19th May 1985 aged 92.

Erected by his widow and family in loving memory of George Patience who died on 20th Jan 1937 aged 69 years. Also their son Donald, lost at sea by enemy action on 6th Jan 1940 aged 31 years and their son George who died at North Fitzroy, Australia 1950 aged 60 years. Also the said widow Jessie Patience who died on 24th June 1952 aged 83 years.

In loving memory of our dear sons Sergt, George Patience ¼ Seaforth Highlander killed in action at Aubers Ridge, France 7th May 1915 aged 19 years. William Patience RNR who was drowned off the Zeebrugge Coast, Belgium 26th Oct 1916 aged 18 years and Jane Patience died 17th Aug 1901 aged 13 years. Also died in infancy John, George, Betsy. George Patience died 16th Oct 1925 aged 79 years and his wife Janet Jack died 5th June 1944 aged 83 years. Sadly missed and deeply mourned. Erected by their ever loving father and mother.

Erected by Alexander Skinner in loving memory of his wife Margaret McLeman died 20th June 1934 aged 62 years. And their sons James died 29th April 1904 aged 7 years, Alexander died 21st April 1908 aged 7 years. L/Cpl William Skinner 10th Cameronians who fell in action on 9th April 1918 aged 19 years and is interred in Vanquentin Cemetery near Arras. Also the said Alexander Skinner died 16th Oct 1947 aged 78 years.

In memory of 40960 Private W G MacKay, 7th Cameron Highlanders killed in action at Arras 12.8.17 aged 20 years, also their son John who was killed in South Africa 16th May 1924 aged 37 years. In loving memory of Christina MacDonald beloved wife of George MacKay who died at Arras Cottage, Avoch 25th Jan 1935 aged 78 years. Also the said George McKay who died on 5th Oct 1941 aged 83 years.
