To the memory of Kenneth Sinclair, Master Mariner, formerly of Olrig, Caithness who died 2nd Jan 1927 aged 88 years. His wife Isabella Murray who died 17th Sep 1940 at Langshaw, Galashiels aged 83 years. Their youngest son Kenneth, Lieut. RNR, through enemy action 6th April 1941 aged 45 years. Interred at Falmouth. Their daughter Beenie who died at Edinburgh 22nd May 1949 aged 61 years. Youngest daughter Lottie died 5th Feb 1895 aged 4 years. Interred at Olrig, Caithness. Sacred to the memory of John W Hourston, MA, FEIS, Rector of Dornoch Academy who died 2nd July 1921 aged 51 years. His wife Mary Sinclair died 8th Feb 1922 aged 42 years. Their youngest son David who died 6th Sep 1927 aged 17 years. Also their eldest son J C Sinclair Hourston (Clair) who died 19th March 1936 aged 29 years. George Sinclair, Master Mariner died at Cowes 16th Jan 1958 aged 74. Isabella Murray Sinclair at Edinburgh 24th June 1967 aged 82. David M Sinclair, Master Mariner at Edinburgh 11th July 1968 aged 78.

To the memory of my husband Robert T Hamilton Bruce who passed away from this life on 24th April 1899 in his 52nd year third son of Lieut Col Hamilton Tyndal Bruce of Grangehill and Falkland. And in memory of Katherine Ann Laurie, wife of Robert T Hamilton Bruce who passed away from this life at Grange Dell, Penicuik on 24th Sep 1928 and is buried in Portobello Cemetery. Others of this family are buried at The West Kirk and Dean Cemetery of Edinburgh. Also their daughter Catherine Anne Hamilton Bruce born 24th May 1895 and died 23rd July 1978.

Sacred to the memory of Lieut. Col Donald Campbell, laye of the 79th or Cameron Highlanders with which distinguished Regiment he served fom Egypt in 1801 to Toulouse in 1814. He died at Creich House on the 6th of December 1844 aged 69 years. This monument is erected to commemorate his virtues as a man and his gallantry as a soldier by his affectionate Nephew Captain William Campbell, late of the 46th Reg.

In memory of Margaret Isabella MacKenzie beloved wife of John MacLean, Bank of Scotland House, Dornoch who died 18th March 1951 aged 61 years. Also the above John MacLean who died 20th June 1957 aged 74 years. Interred Dornoch West Cemetery. And their beloved only son Kenneth John MacLean, Surgn. Lieut. Cor. RN who died 17th Aug 1959 aged 41 years.

In loving memory of Duncan Ross, Teacher and latterly Gatechrist in this Parish who died at Birichen 2nd June 1865 aged 77. Also his daughter Helen who died 8th June 1848 aged 4. Also of his son Kenenth, Sergeant, RE who died at Kurrachee, India 4th Jan 1882 aged 33. Also of his son John who died at Carbondale, PA, US 14th Feb 1885 aged 53. Also his wife Margaret MacKay who died at Birichen 24th July 1889 aged 78. Margt Ross died 14th Dec 1910.

In memory of John Sutherland, Badninish died in 1863 aged 78. Ann Matheson his first wife died in 1825 aged 38. Fanny Murray his second wife died in 1873. Also of their family David aged 25, John age 29 both of 93rd Highlanders. James died in 1858 aged 27. John died in 1860 aged 27. Christina died 1874 aged 58, Alexr died 1880 aged 59 at Burghead. Also Ann Sutherland beloved wife of John MacKay died 14th Nov 1906 aged 69. Also John MacKay died 17th Feb 1913 aged 75. Also William Ross, son in law died 3rd March 1912 aged 48. Erected by D Sutherland.
