Name: FERNS
Initials: J
Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Private
Regiment/Service: Highland Light Infantry
Unit Text: 4th Bn.
Date of Death: 04/06/1917
Service No: 39603
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: X. 462.
Cemetery: OLD MONKLAND CEMETERY
I can't find M.C., or any Service Records for the above man, who also doesn't seem to be listed on SNWM.
I've checked the Coatbridge & Airdrie Civic Memorials too, but no Ferns on either.
Any ideas anyone?
