In loving memory of Ellen MacPherson beloved wife of James Smith, Gamekeeper, Lochindore, Morayshire who died at Inverness November 190?. The said James Smith died Nov 1908 aged 74 years. And their children Marjory & Margaret Charlotte who died in infancy. Also in loving memory of their second son Donald John MacPherson, 44th Batt Australian Infantry Forces born at Aberlour, Banffshire 13th Sep 1877 killed in action at Broodseinde, Belgium 11th Oct 1917. He did his duty. Erected by her husband and family.
