A relation of mine emailed me very recently and said:

"I passed a very old graveyard in Bridgeton today and there was a lot of work going on in it. It looked to me as if they were preparing the ground for flat building and I thought what a shame."

Can anyone con firm this?

Derek.

Hi Derek,

Probably either Abercrombie Street or Tullis Street graveyards - both are in the process of being 'done-up'.

Having had a look through the wee leaflet, I would imagine it's Abercombie Street which is being worked on just now as Tullis Street looks complete.
