I sent the following as a PM to David yesterday morning but it's still sitting in the Out Box - so now I've got two problems.
Can anyone help please?
Hi David
It might be just me but I've just posted on the Overseas thread and I don't get the EDIT icon when I've done.
I've had to duplicate my first post to add some more detail.
Can you help, please.

Ken, I added the information from post no. 3 to post no. 1, then deleted 3.
Is this what you wanted to achieve?

Anne, I did reply to your PM but, like my PM to David, it's still in my "Outbox" (and not in "Sentbox") so you probably won't get it.
Next time I'll just write a letter

On this and the War Memorial forum, items remain in the outbox until they are read and then they move to the sent box.
So if something is in your outbox, an automatic email should have gone to the recipient, they just haven't gone into the forum and checked the PM yet.
Hope that helps

So "Out" means sent and "Sent" means received?
Thanks Paul that does actually make sense - even to me. |
