When travelling east from Inverkeithing towards Aberdour on the A921 ignore entrance to Dalgety Bay at the BP Garage. Straight on at the next roundabout staying on the A921 for approximately 3/4 mile. Take the side road on the right signposted Dalgety Bay, Hillend Industrial Park and Dalgety Church Cemetery. Take the first left and follow the road to the right.

There are two graves listed on the Commowealth War Graves website and an additional family headstone commemorating one of the fallen.

He set a splendid example of courage and determination."

Robert Downie is listed on the Anwoth and Girthon Parishes War Memorial in Gatehouse-of-Fleet in Kirkcudbrightshire.

Died 8 January 1918 of pneumonia at his home at West Lodge and buried in the Dalgety Parish Churchyard (CWG) Listed on the Dalgety Parish War Memorial.
