The Glasgow Herald of July 16, 1958, has a brief account of the death of Lt Col Patrick Ludovic Graham. He was killed by a stray bullet during an attack on the British Embassy, where he was Controller of Household.

A point to note is that he and the other military-inclined Grahams in this churchyard are descendants of James Graham, Marquis of Montrose.
