I used to have an avatar of Elgin War Memorial. It seems to have disappeared. Can anyone give me a clue as to how I get it back? I tried to use photobucket to no avail.

I see Spoons has still got his avatar. I've not bothered with one on this forum mainly because it seems to be hit or miss downloading one on the war memorials forum.

Is the bit on your profile blank or has it still got a URL in it? Comparing the profiles on both forums I see this one only has one option but the war memorials profile has three. i don't know if that matters?

Adam,

As you rightly say, it is of little consequence! Our sister forum, in the profile control section, allows individuals to upload an avatar from their computer rather than from somewhere like photobucket - this forum does not.

Never mind; if anyone wants to see a piccie of the Elgin War Memorial they can check out my avatar on the War Memorials Forum - or come to Elgin!

On the war memorials forum I just uploaded the avatar to the forum. On this forum I uploaded the avatar to photobucket and just put a link in my profile.
