Hi
I am fairly new to this forum, I was wondering does anyone have a photo of the grave of the following lad :
24245027 Pte. Maxwell McKay, soldier in the Queens Own Highlanders.
He died in a tragic training accident Melle, West Germany, on 17th December 1974, aged 18.He is buried in Elgin Cemetery.
I would be most grateful for a copy.

Regards
Stan

Hello Stan,

One of our members is from Elgin (Roxy) and I'm sure it won't be long before he sees your post and will probably see if he can find him for you.

Do you have a Section and Lair Number for Elgin Cemetery? Makes a big difference when you have an idea of where to look.

Anne

P.S. Welcome to the forum! Smile

Stan,

Welcome to the Forum.

I have been to Elgin Cemetery. I will have a look at my photos for Maxwell McKay.

I had a quick look at my photos- no joy yet. I'll look in slow time later.

I've only done about 3/4 of the Cemetery.
