Hi, I'm Elaine from Aberdeen and I'm hoping to post some photos that I took in Mortlach Churchyard recently for the Moray board.

Hi Elaine,

Welcome to the Forum!

I'm looking forward to seeing your photos.

I think I'm right in saying that you'll need to post 5 messages and wait 5 days before you can start uploading photos but the best way to do this, is by sorting out the names of the casualties (alphabetically) then after checking (on CWGC) you haven't missed any in that particular location, post the details, then when you've reached your 5/5 you can start adding the photos to the posts you've already made.

We try and follow this system:
1. All the CWGC Burials
2. All the non-CWGC burials, (i.e. family stones mentioning men/women buried elsewhere)
3. Miscellaneous 'military' related stones, (i.e. survivors of either war - maybe individuals who have been awarded a MM etc., or anyone involved in earlier/later conflicts.)

I hope I haven't put you off! Smile

Anne

Actually, we think the 5days/5 posts ruling no longer applies, so ignore what Anne has said about that!

Thanks for the welcome and advice

I only managed to find 7 of the 11 CWGC gravestones as my time was limited, but I can post details of them all and add the rest of the photos when I get them.

Elaine Smile
