In memory of John Kennedy, Farmer, W Lochend who died 2nd March 1899 aged 53 years. Also George David his son who died 14th Feb 1888 aged 4 years. Also his wife Annie McCulloch died 31st March 1926 aged 82 years and their son Lieut J Kennedy, killed in action, France 26th Sep 1916. Also their son Donald Kennedy, Farmer, Wester Lochend who died 16th Dec 1854 aged 87 years. And his wife Jane Catherine Fraser who died 26th Nov 1957 aged 57 years. Erected by his widow and family.

In loving memory of Alexander MacKintosh who died 1907 and his wife Ann Smith who died 29th Jan 1946. Their children John who died in infancy, Alick who died April 1900. Angus killed in action in France 1st Aug 1918 aged 28. Jessie Ann died 8th Oct 1947 aged 49.

In loving memory of my dear husband and our dear father Duncan MacLennan, Farmer, Bemuchlye who died there 8th Nov 1936. And our children Elizabeth died at Lonnie 10th March 1903. Trooper Duncan Maclennan died on Hospital Ship “Nevassa” in The Dardanelles 21st Nov 1915. Also Elizabeth MacGillivray widow of Duncan Maclennan died at Easter Clackton 24th Aug 1950. Also their children William died 15-7-53, John died 21-10-55, Finlay died 14-6-59, Jessie died 19-1-63, Donald died 4-12-63, James died 19-3-68, Mary died 26-3-76, Andrew died 3-4-80. Erected by his sorrowing widow and family at home and abroad. George died 12-12-73, Hugh died 25-8-83.

Sacred to the memory of our beloved parents David Waters Ralph died 31st March 1959 aged 92. Isabella Johnstone died 1st May 1944 aged 76. And our brothers George Ralph, RSF, killed in action 21st Jan 1916 aged 21. David Waters Ralph, RAMC killed in action 26th Dec 1916 aged 19. Alexander died in infancy. Our dear sister Jessie Johnstone Ralph died 18th June 1981 and Robert Whitehead Ralph died 10th April 1982. Daniel Ralph died 5th Feb 1964.

Erected in memory of Lt/Col Duncan Gus Baillie, CMC, DSO born 23rd Dec 1872 died 3rd July 1968 and his wife Mary Evelyn Cochrane born 11th Feb 1883 died 24th May 1971, who lived at Auld Petty 1937-1968.

Alexander MacGillivray of Dunmaglass (Alasdair Ruadh Na Feile - Generous Red-headed Alexander), Chief of his Clan and Colonel of The MacKintosh or Clan Chattan Regiment. Was buried across the threshold of a former church on this site. He was mortally wounded by a musket shot while leading The Highland Charge at the Battle of Culloden 16th April 1746 and died at “The Well of the Dead”. His body was later recovered and interred here. Placed in proud remembrance by The Clan MacGillivray July 1997.

Sacred to the loving memory of Donald MacKintosh, Culernie, Petty who died at Inverness on the 13th of Jan 1896 aged 74 years and of his wife Margaret Ross MacKintosh who also died there on the 5th day of July 1896 aged 63 years. And their son John Ross MacKintosh, Colr. Sergt. Houssa Regt., 22nd Sea Highrs, born 10th May 1868, died when on passage home and buried at sea on 11th March 1899. Erected by their sorrowing family.
